Alliance Laundry Systems today announced its decision to discontinue the sales and manufacturing of Cissell® branded equipment worldwide at the end of 2014.

“The rationalization of product designs and the multiple brands within the Alliance portfolio were the primary reasons for making this decision,” said William Bittner, Vice President North American Sales in a letter to Cissell distributors. “We feel this action is in the best interest of Alliance Laundry Systems and its distribution network going forward.”

Over the next several months, Alliance will work closely with Cissell distributors to help prepare for this final outcome. The company will continue to support discontinued Cissell products through the Alliance Customer One support groups.

“On behalf of the entire Alliance Laundry Systems management team, we want to thank all Cissell distributors for the business and support they have generated for over a half century and wish them continued success,” added Bittner.
