Alliance Laundry Systems’ Customer Service Program Honored

Alliance Laundry Systems(Alliance), the leading global commercial laundry equipment provider, has earned a Silver Stevie® Award in the ninth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service program. Alliance was recognized specifically for recent achievements of its customer service program, Customer One.

“On behalf of the entire team, it’s exciting to be recognized for the world-class resources and services we provide our customers,” said Scott Chiavetta, vice president of Customer One and chief information officer at Alliance. “As Alliance continues to grow, we embrace the opportunity to support even more customers while providing each of them with the tools they need to succeed in the laundry industry.”

Alliance received silver accolades in the “Customer Service Department of the Year – all other industries” category, and was one of 12 international companies nominated. The manufacturer submitted an essay outlining key achievements of its Customer One team, which services a global network of more than 800 equipment distributors, dealers and laundry service providers. The department includes more than 100 global employees and is comprised of order services, technical service, training and business development.

According to Chiavetta, major accomplishments in the past year and a half include the rollout of an upgraded customer portal coupled with an updated online training program, a new in-depth lead qualification program and a new outbound lead generation program.

“The functions of the department are diverse, yet the end-goal of each initiative is the same: provide customers with second-to-none business growth opportunities and superior service,” adds Chiavetta.

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. More than 1,900 nominations from organizations of all sizes and from virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, according to the organization. Awards were presented at a Feb. 27 gala banquet in Las Vegas.

“Entries to the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service awards have more than doubled over the past three years,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “This year’s Stevie Award winners are the highest rated in the history of the awards, and we congratulate all of the winners on their commitment to excellence and innovation.”
