Well, we are closing in on Clean Show 2025. So, if you haven’t made a plan yet, it’s a good idea to spend some time and do so. Whether you’re a new investor pondering your first laundromat or a current owner looking for the latest products and services to take your business to the next level, the show is the center of the laundry universe for four days. Just don’t make the rookie mistake of wandering aimlessly. Below are tips to make the most of Clean Show.

  1. Set priorities. Have an idea of the products/services that are must-sees and keep them as notes in your phone. These priorities should reflect things that can make a difference in how your business runs and/or its profitability. (Might we suggest exploring our powerful technology systems and new products? Booth 1505 definitely is worth adding to the priority list.)
  2. Plan your questions. Ever go to the grocery store with no list, just memory? Ever have to go back to the store because you forgot stuff? You don’t want to make that mistake at a show that comes around just every two years. Again, keep a list of the questions you have on the products/services on your list. PRO TIP: You don’t buy features; you invest in advantages and benefits. So, while some booth personnel want to highlight what things “do” keep the question focus on what these features “do for me and my business.”
  3. Be open to learning. We can all learn more about our businesses. Plan to attend at least a few educational events and challenge yourself to come home with at least a couple new ideas to implement.
  4. Network. The learning doesn’t end with the educational sessions offered. It continues through networking with other owners, company reps, industry reps, etc. Bring business cards to exchange and add socials links from the folks you meet and want to follow online.
  5. Nerd out. You’ll definitely want to visit the Alliance Laundry Systems booth (1505) for some Laundry Nerd fun and photos. We won’t give it away; but trust us, it’s worth the trip.
  6. Take notes/Set follow-ups. Coming out of the show, you’ll hopefully have follow- ups. Add these takeaways to your notes and have a plan to execute on your list. Give yourself a deadline to ensure you get the most out of your trip.
  7. Be flexible. While the above tips bring a bit of structure to your Clean Show experience, do not forget to be flexible to ensure time for fun. Set at least one day to take in the show with no set schedule. Often, these open days can be just as valuable.
  8. Have fun. We all love laundry, but remember to have fun, too. Laundry Nerds are the best people. So, make new friends, make time for a coffee or drink with fellow Nerds.
