Alliance Laundry Systems, the world leader in commercial laundry equipment, was out in full force at Expo Detergo International in Milan, Italy October 21-24. It’s one of Europe’s largest textile care trade shows and takes place every four years. The 220m² Alliance booth displayed a variety of game-changing equipment and technology, representing all leading brands in Europe.
Jean-Baptiste Vandamme (Sr Vice President Europe) believes he has witnessed the best laundry exhibition in more than a decade: “This edition of Expo Detergo has been an incredible success for Alliance. Our expectations were honestly very high, but these have been exceeded by far. Our industry didn’t have the opportunity to meet physically during the covid pandemic, so now having back the possibility to meet and interact clearly brought distributors and customers out this show. Our booth was packed during the entire duration of the show!”
Tijs Denuwelaere (Marketing Manager EMEAI) joins Jean-Baptiste in his enthusiasm. “We anticipated a huge attendance and therefore designed our booth in a way we could welcome many visitors. This clearly proved to be the right approach as our hospitality zone was extremely busy, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the show.”
Main highlight was the brand new condense dryer, called C-DRYER, displayed together with the matching semi-commercial front load washer, marketed in Europe under the name “Speed Queen Professional”. “The Speed Queen C-DRYER is our latest innovation and a condense dryer capable of drying a full load in less than 1 hour, turning this model into the fasted condense dryer on the market. In combination with the Speed Queen front load washer, this is thé preferred professional laundry equipment for small businesses”, according to Jean-Baptiste Vandamme.
Other highlights were the PRIMUS FX soft-mount washer-extractor range featuring a new design as well as an increased G-Force of up to 500G, heat-pump tumblers with booster technology, solutions for facility managers and laundromats, as well as the touch control & wireless connectivity solutions.
